Trust…AND Obey! by Tim C. Terry
2 Chronicles 7:14 says…”if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
What exciting times in which we live!! As you read this, Christians all over the world along with you are heeding this call to repent and are “turning back” to the ancient paths. they are returning to the Scripture for their “instruction in righteousness”. All of Scripture. (2Timothy 3:16) Reminiscent of Peter and the apostles of old, these modern day “bondservants” are choosing to obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29) Just like Paul, these followers of Messiah have been redeemed by the blood of The Lamb…saved 100% by the grace of God thru faith. (Eph 2:8). And…just like Paul, they are believing “all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets” (Acts 24:14) They are making the choice to trust and obey! With a hearts desire to “test all things; hold fast to what is good” (1Thess 5:21), these “Bereans” are now re-examining the Scriptures in their proper context…from a Hebraic point of view. After all, Jesus is Jewish!! Also, the writers of the “New” testament were Jews of Israelites. And we, thru faith in the Messiah, are counted as the “seed of Abraham,”(Gal 3:29) the “children of God” (Rom 9:8) “fellow heirs (Eph 3:6) and “members of the commonwealth of Israel”! (Eph 2:11-19) Praise the Lord!!
All of a sudden, instructions given to Israel in the Torah, take on new meaning as you realize that as a Christian, your God is the Holy One of Israel…(Ex 5:1) your Messiah is Yeshua, King of Israel…(John1:49) and that we, as His people are the redeemed of Israel (Luke 1:68) who will one day worship Him in the New Jerusalem, (Revelation 21) keeping His appointed times and Sabbaths!! (Isaiah 66:23) Scripture comes alive in a way never before experienced as you begin to see that from one end of the Bible to the other, God really is talking to you and me! Praise Him!!
These Believers seem to have several other things in common as well. They can see that heaven and earth have not yet passed away, and that many prophesies are yet to be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:17-18) Out of love for their Master (John 14:15) and with a desire to be called great in His Kingdom, they are learning to keep and teaching others to keep even the least of God’s commandments. (Matt 5:19) They are finding rest and joy in the keeping of His Sabbaths and His Feasts. (Lev 23) They are learning about clean and unclean and are no longer eating the detestable. (Lev 11) They are looking to the life of Messiah in Scripture to answer the question “what did Jesus do” and are then following His example as Paul instructed. (1Cor 11:1) they have come to realize that the God of Israel does not change (Malachi 3:6) and that there is but one Law given to both Israel and to the stranger. (Num15:15-16) In a world of “Torah-less-ness” (Matt 7:23) there exists a group of people who seek to live by “every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matt 4:4, Deut 8:3) There exissts a group of people who have the testimony of Jesus the Messiah, and a desire to keep the Commandments of god!! Praise the Lord!!
Now, for you prophecy students out there…did you know that the book of Revelation speaks of this “peculiar” group of end-time Believers seven times? Check it out…Revelation 12:17 says “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the Commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ”. Revelation 14:12 says “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” Now check out Revelation 1:2, 1:9, 3:8,6:9 and 20:4. May you and your family be blessed each day as you…TRUST AND OBEY!!
Jeremiah 6:16 says…Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls.
Thank you.

Very excited!! Can’t wait to read it. I have a lot of questions and would love to hear what you have to say. My friend and I were talking about the Second Commandment and what all “graven images” includes???
If you have the time I would really appreciate it. No hurry of course. I have so many questions, like tons and if you’re up to the challenge I would love to pick your brain. I think you’re very smart and you get it and you have a way of explaining that I can actually understand it. So let me know.
Thanks again
Bridget
I feel very blessed by the site because most of the issues it discuss are real situation issues. I once argues with other friends of the best food to eat now I can say that I have answers from the bible through this site.
God Bless you

Greetings! I am using the article about the open refutation of the Chuck Missler’s teaching on the Sabbath as a tool to introduce the whole gospel (Torah lifestyle, et. al.)to ease my pastor into things messianic. That was an excellent article!
Question: i could not find anywhere that would tell me anything about the author of this website.
Can I find anything here, for example, your testimony?
Thanks!
Hi Newcolours!
It’s been a long time. I’m so glad I decided to look through my old comments and found yours on some of my first blog posts… I needed to see this. Thank you.
GOD IS AWESOME and I definitely need to get my life back on track. May God bless you abundantly my friend.
I hope you post more soon!
Hello Tim,
Thank you for teaching from the heart and the Torah.
Then gently explaining the underlying truths of the word.
I will always feel unworthy, but each word that reaches my heart has brought me closer to my Lord and Savior. His word makes me hungry to learn more.
The information was very helpful and uplifting. I’m changing my eating habbits. I want to use the guide of God. I fill it’ time to go back to what God want us to do more than ever.
Thank you for the information.

May God richly bless you as you follow Him. Thank you for commenting,it’s so encouraging to hear from people who are turning to the Scriptures for defining right and wrong. Tim
Hello,
I happened across your site today after searching ‘Chuck Missler, dont believe anything he says’ (seriously). No, I dont really feel that way but I remembered seeing someone on the internet say it so I was just trying to relocate it.
I am a farely new believer and have been head deep trying to learn as much as possible. I am enjoying it and I started with a Bible study from Chuck. However, I recently started to see all the different opinions of some things and wondered if maybe I am not in the best study? I also started getting ‘feelings’ about Sabbath and want to stay focused on the right path. Do you, or can you recommend a Bible study that will keep me focused on the right path? I want to learn about the Bible prophecy from the beginning of time on through the end times but without mans ‘fluff’. Without a study, I am not the type of person to just spot it on my own. I want to see the true symbols of the Bible and the real meanings and real law. I dont want to be misled by ‘man’ or man’s convenience..
Thanx for any advice!
What a blessing this site is. Thank you.
Thanks for stopping by SOR Joey and for the needed words of encouragement. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. May the God of Israel bless you as you follow Him. Tim
You’re a legalist.
Why do you say that? Do you advocate disobedience to God or obedience out of love for Him?
